The Awesome Woman this week is Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot point blank in the head on January 8, 2011 while conducting one of her Congress on Your Corner events with her constituents. According to today's Washington Post, she could be released as soon as Friday from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility.
